Belleville washers (disc springs) are conical spring washers that deliver high spring force in a very small installation space. Used singly or stacked, they maintain bolt preload, compensate for settling and thermal expansion, and absorb shock and vibration. We produce disc springs to DIN 2093 / EN 16983 or your drawing in spring steel and stainless steel, with a black oxide and oil finish as standard.

Flexible Stacking Arrangements

Disc springs can be stacked to match almost any load–deflection requirement. Stacking in series (alternating direction) multiplies the deflection, stacking in parallel (same direction) multiplies the load, and combined stacks give both.
